WELCOME TO 2014!

Happy new year beloved! It is the beginning of yet another year, a time for new beginnings. I'm so glad to be privileged by God to see this day and I thank Him. I bet many have set plans for the year. I pray you receive grace to accomplish them. I suggest each one of us should purchase a daily devotional that explains God's word very well and study it deeply in order to grow in God and move forward in life.
Below are a few things you need to know, that will profit you this year.
  1. People do not determine your destiny, God does.
  2. To move forward successfully and achieve your highest potential, you must get rid of the negative labels(incapable, impossible, ugly, poor, useless, incompetent, etc) people have placed on you, rather, place positive tags(I'm capable, I'm possible, beautiful, rich, important, I'm competent, amazing, happy, the apple of God's eye, etc) on your life. When you continue speaking positive things into your life, soon, you'll start living them.
  3. God is blessing us so that we can help others. Be charitable.
  4. Forgive, forgive, forgive. Let go of all the hurt and pain. They are unnecessary luggage that would weigh you down and delay you from maximising your purpose on earth.
  5. Know who you are in Christ!
  6. Stop trying to be another person's duplicate, for you cannot maximise your potentials by duplicating others.
  7. Remember the 3 Ds; discipline, dedication and diligence.
  8. You are who you think you are; if you think you are smart, you'll begin to channel your life in that direction, eventually, you will become smart.
  9. Keep your focus on God and meditate on His word, claim His promises for your life.
  10. Above all, God loves you! John 3:16 ( "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life" ), Romans 8: 35, 38& 39 (35. "Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? , 38. "For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers", 39. "nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord").
Thanks for tuning in, stay blessed. x
